This video shows the painting process. I started with a roll of canvas nailed to the wall, then drew out the composition in raw umber. I then painted the first layer of colour across the whole canvas, before going into further detail and building up more layers.

Once finished and dry, I rolled it up, drove it to Minchinhampton, stretched it onto a wooden canvas frame and varnished it.
